History of ClearMedical
ClearMedical was founded in 1997 as a reprocessor of non-invasive medical devices. Since that time, ClearMedical has reprocessed over 1 million SUD's for hospitals.
In 2004, we transitioned our business to invasive device collector and distributor. Recognizing that in-hospital staff collection of used SUD's was a major impediment to hospital adoption of reprocessing as a cost cutting strategy, ClearMedical has become a distributor of remanufactured SUD's rather than a 'dry cleaning' service provider.
ClearMedical realized that separating device collection from device purchasing provides a more significant value proposition. Simply put:
- ClearMedical collects devices from Hospital A;
- And sells them, after remanufacturing, to Hospital B.
This model allows a hospital to purchase all of their supply from ClearMedical at significant discount. With the ClearMedical model, a hospital can achieve at least a 30% savings on its brand name remanufactured SUD's.
Hospitals can purchase ClearMedical products directly from ClearMedical or through one of its distributors.
